  • Is there a difference between online BLS vs In Person BLS Classes?

    Yes! Online BLS Classes even though claim their certification is a valid BLS Certification, no Online Only BLS Certification is recognized as valid BLS Certification. The only recognized BLS Certification is an American Heart Association BLS Card this also requires an in-person 'Hands-On' portion.

  • What is BLS Certification?

    BLS (CPR for Healthcare Providers)  is required for all Medical Students-Medical Providers as well as BLS Renewal Certification Classes every two years.


    Only American Heart Association is recognized as valid BLS Certification.

  • Is BLS the same as CPR?

    BLS even though the class includes CPR, BLS is designed for all Healthcare Providers and Medical Students.


    CPR Classes are designed for Non-Healthcare Providers/Students, yet require training in CPR.

  • I'm a Medical Student. Do I need BLS?

    As a Medical Student you are required to have BLS Certification.


    Please note, only American Heart Association BLS Certification is recognized as valid BLS Certification.

  • What is covered in a BLS Class?

    BLS Classes cover all basic life supporrt skills to stabilize a patient in an acute life threatening emergency.


    Basic life support skills include effective chest compressions, rescue breathing.


    Proper use of a bag-mask device and use of an (AED) for the Adult, Child and Infant Populations.


    Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest.


    Basic Airway management.


    Choking Relief for the Adult, Child and Infant.


    Effective communication as a member and leader of a Basic Life Support team.

  • How long is a BLS Certification Class?

    Times vary based on the number of students participating in the class. This range is from 3-4 hours with an average BLS Class time of 3.5 hours.


  • How long is my BLS Certification Valid For?

    BLS Certification Is Valid for Two Years from The Date of Issue.


  • When will I receive my BLS Certification Card?

    All American Heart Association BLS Certification Cards are issued the same day of the class.
