The American Heart Association HearSaver Course covers CPR, AED, Choking, First-Aid (both medical & trauma life preserving recognition & skills) for adults, children, and infants.
The AHA HeartSaver CPR/AED, First-Aid Class complies with all state (WISHA) and federal (OSHA) requirements. Students will receive a two-year certification card upon completion of the course.

What is the cost of this course?
The price for this course varies whether choosing the AHA HeartSaver CPR/AED Course or including First-Aid as part of the HeartSaver Course. There Are Also HeartSaver Specific Courses Designed with an emphasis for specific age groups including AHA HeartSaver for Pediatrics Which includes CPR/AED & First-Aid. We do not offer a HeartSaver First-Aid only Course. Instead, it is our belief that every HeartSaver Provider whether emphasized for Pediatrics or the general HeartSaver Course...Should have a thorough understanding of not just CPR/AED, but medical and trauma emergencies. Even though not HealthCare Providers...You're early recognition of Medical Emergenicies, Trauma Emergencies and life preserving skills learned in the AHA HeartSaver CPR/AED, First-Aid Course or Pediatric HeartSaver CPR/AED, First-Aid Course is the first link in the EMS chain of survival and being any of us can be the next patient, we should be as prepared as possible to preserve life before EMS arrives. Is the textbook required for this course?
Yes. A printed version will be provided as part of your course cost and provided to you at the start of your AHA HeartSaver Class. This is your HeartSaver Student Workbook to keep and both read in entirety as well as refresh and use as a reference over the course of the next 2 years before time for your HeartSaver renewal.
What is the duration of this course?
The course is approx 6 hours in duration. This course is designed around your understanding and skill ability as opposed to time. We have a lot to cover but rest assured...we have a solid outline and make the knowledge and skill learning easily digestible as well as executed. How long is the ecard valid?
The ecard is valid for 2 years from the date of issue.
You will receive your eCard within 2 hours after your AHA HeartSaver Course completion. All New AHA Provider Cards are sent to from the AHA to the email address you used to register for your HeartSaver Class. Don't worry...We always confirm your email address so your new HeartSaver Provider Card is sent to the email address you intended.
